National Divisions Nursing in General Practice Forum 2009

One of the key activities to be undertaken by AGPN under the Nursing in General Practice (NiGP) Program is to host a two-day annual Forum for Practice Nurse Program Officers and other interested staff.

The key aims for the forum are to:

  • Showcase nationally relevant NiGP initiatives and models

  • Share knowledge, skills and resources

  • Coach and collaborate with divisions to build their capacity to support nursing in general practice

  • Build support networks amongst division NiGP program officers nationally

  • Provide an opportunity to review the strengths and weaknesses of the NiGP program

  • Prioritise future activities

The third annual Forum will be held at The Sebel Albert Park, Melbourne on Wednesday 4 March and Thursday 5 March 2009.
